Garlic; The latest weapon in the fight against superbug
Did you think garlic could only be used to ward off vampires?
Think again, as research company Allicin International Ltd has an exciting and new innovation that could combat superbugs such as MRSA, which has been cited many times in the media as being responsible for increasing numbers of deaths in hospitals.
In 1999, Allicin International managed to develop a stabilised extract of allicin from fresh garlic which is then dried to form a powder known as Allicinmax.
The stabilising process ensures that the active ingredient can be distributed by the body to where it is needed most.
Allicinmax is the only one which actually contains allicin in its stabilised form. Research carried out by Dr Ron Cutler of Queen Mary University of London, supports the claim that allicin can in fact combat MRSA & other secondary infections which can be contracted whilst in hospital.
Using samples of the MRSA bacteria in his laboratories, Dr Cutler and his team successfully used allicin to eradicate any trace of the infection. This news has spread throughout the world, and Allicinmax is now available & used in 15 countries.
You can buy it at Little London Herbal Stores, 9 Kings Walk, Nottingham, NG1 2AE or at allinmax.com
